Découpez le chocolat blanc en carrés. Faites-le fondre au bain-marie. Dans une casserole, faites bouillir la crème liquide. Versez-la immédiatement sur le chocolat blanc fondu. Mélangez bien à la spatule pour lisser la ganache. Eine ungewohnte Situation für Leverkusen, nur beim Remis gegen Bayern München hatte das Alonso-Team einem Rückstand hinterherlaufen müssen. Aber die Werkself zeigte sich unbeeindruckt, war drückend überlegen und kombinierte sich vor allem über den rechten Flügel mit Jeremie Frimpong und Jonas Hofmann immer wieder in den Strafraum. Exequiel Palacios (7.), Granit Xhaka (14./21.) und Hofmann (20.) zielten nicht genau genug, Jonathan Tah traf den Ball nicht (26.), Alejandro Grimaldos Freistoß war sichere Beute für BVB-Keeper Gregor Kobel (31.). Kurz vor dem Pausenpfiff traf Wirtz sehenswert, das Tor wurde wegen einer Abseitsposition aber wieder einkassiert (45.+1). Die Pausenführung des BVB war überaus glücklich. Die Gäste verteidigten aufopferungsvoll und lauerten auf Konter. Odilon Kossounou rettete in letzter Not gegen den enteilten Jamie Bynoe-Gittens (51.). Dortmund lief weiter hinterher, Leverkusen war äußerlich das bessere Team. Sie belohnten sich aber nicht: Grimaldo legte per Hacke zu Palacios, der scheiterte am herausstürmenden Kobel (62.). Kurz darauf knallte Niclas Füllkrug die Kugel aus spitzem Winkel ans Außennetz (68l.). Schließlich fiel doch noch der Ausgleich. Der frisch eingewechselte Patrik Schick wurde steil geschickt, behielt im Strafraum die Übersicht und legte in den Fünfmeterraum zu Sturmkollege Victor Boniface, der nur noch einschieben musste (79.). In den letzten Minuten wurde die Partie nochmal hitzig, Füllkrug verpasste mit dem Schlusspfiff mit einem Flugkopfball beinahe das 2:1 (90.+5). Leverkusen konnte seine spielerischen Vorteile nicht in Tore ummünzen, daher geht das 1:1-Remis unter dem Strich in Ordnung.
