Vezenkov lifts Olympiacos to OT win! | Round 13, Highlights | Turkish Airlines EuroLeague
In a game where neither team had a lead larger than 7 points, Olympiacos Piraeus pull out a dramatic 84-87 overtime win over UNICS Kazan on Friday night. The Reds registered their third consecutive win, and second on the road, to improve to 9-4 record, while UNICS had its four-game winning streak snapped, dropping to 7-6. Sasha Vezenkov scored half of his game-high 22 points in the fourth quarter and overtime to lead Olympiacos. Kostas Sloukas finished with 12 points and 8 assists, while Giannoulis Larentzakis and Moustapha Fall scored 10 apiece in a victory. Lorenzo Brown scored 21, and Isaiah Canaan netted 20 for the hosts. John Brown and Mario Hezonja added 11 apiece in a losing effort. A magical jumper of Kostas Sloukas with 2 seconds left in the game gives Olympiacos Piraeus a thrilling 67-65 success over Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul. Sloukas led four players in double-figure of scoring for the home team by netting 14, while Tyler Dorsey, Giannoulis Larentzakis, and Moustapha Fall added 10 apiece. Jan Vesely drilled 14 with 9 rebounds for the guests, and Nando De Colo and Marko Guduric nailed 10 each.
