'Bale like, looks special': Some Arsenal fans rave about teenager, predict first-team football. Arsenal appear to have a huge talent on their hands in Bukayo Saka. Arsenal's first team were in Europa League action tonight, as they played out a dour 0-0 draw with Sporting at the Emirates Stadium. The Gunners struggled to impress at the Emirates Stadium, but fans were at least treated to some entertainment on Wednesday night. Arsenal's Under-21's took on Forest Green Rovers in the Checkatrade Trophy, and came away with a thumping 3-1 victory in an impressive display. The likes of Cohen Bramall, Julio Pleguezuelo, Joe Willock and Gedion Zelalem were all inaction, with Willock grabbing a brace before Tyreece John-Jules added the third to seal a 3-1 win. However, the man who really caught the eye was Bukayo Saka, with the 17-year-old turning in a superb display to underline just why he is so highly-rated at the Emirates Stadium. Primarily a left winger, Saka was a thorn in Forest Green's side all night long, and his performance earned huge praise on Twitter during and after the game. Some called him 'special' and compared him to Gareth Bale, whilst predicting first-team football for him this season despite his youth, with fans telling people to remember his name as he will prove to be a star of the future. Saka, Willock and Pleguezuelo tonight Saka is incredible. Beat five or six men to win Arsenal a penalty. Bit of a Eureka moment for me with Saka tonight. I knew he was good but this kid looks special right now. You can see why Smith Rowe thinks he’s the next youngster who’ll be in the first team. saka has the potential to a lb turn into lw type a player. kinda bale like Saka is only 17 and he’s humiliating grown men, what a talent directly involved in 2 goals saka needs to get near the first team soon man is a gem Would prefer we bring Saka through as a left back, it’s better to have someone of his attributes at left back than it is to push him further forward, quite powerful as well Remember the name Bukayo Saka https://t.co/4QT3EpPWBV
