Coming out of the Lions loss to the Broncos, which was to be expected given the nature of their health and injury status, the Lions look to lick their wounds and face their toughest opponent yet - the Arizona Cardinals. I'm not sure anyone is predicting victory for the Lions here... Detroit Lions Podcast Keeps It Real One interesting point, the Lions played well against the Los Angeles Rams earlier this season, and the Rams just beat the Cardinals. So by the transitive property, the Lions would have a chance. Looking at how this year has gone, we'd say the Lions would play well and lose. Looking at the injury list, the Lions likely don't have a chance. That being the case, any time is a good time to grab a big pretzel if you're at Ford Field for the game. We'll talk about the Denver game some positives and negatives, expectations for the final weeks, Covid and how it's reared its ugly head around the league, as well as some interesting thinking around drafting quarterbacks. Most people aren't talking about this, but it is likely one of the biggest factors for rookie QB success beyond just the numbers.
