Georgia Tech vs. Florida State: The No. 1 seeded Florida State Seminoles relied on some outstanding pitching and defense to get past the No. 11 seeded Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, 2-1 in the quarterfinals of the 2026 ACC Softball Championship. Jazzy Francik earned the win after pitching 5.2 innings of 3-hit ball, giving up just 1 earned run while striking out 4 batters. Ashtyn Danley got the save as she didn't allow a hit from the 4 batters she faced. The Seminoles had to come from behind after Medina Holly drove in Raegan Wall with a sacrifice fly but Anna Hinde drove in a run in the 3rd to tie things up and Bella Ruggerio was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded to score Isa Torres, giving the 'Noles the 2-1 advantage. El mismo estadio que vio nacer la carrera de Orlando "El Duque" Hernández fue el escenario de este emotivo reencuentro.En el campo: Iván Correa (16 series nacionales, 118 jonrones), Wilber de Armas (12 series, 50 HR), Humberto Casamayor, Lázaro de la Torre (+200 victorias, 3.30 ERA), René Espin (Novato del Año 1991), Blas Bocourt (259 ponches en 8 series), Leonel "El Nene" Ricardo, Lázaro Valle (139 victorias, 3.39 ERA), Jorge Fumero y muchos más.
