Im Heimspiel der 9. Runde des HLA MEISTERLIGA Grunddurchgangs sicherte Sparkasse Schwaz Handball Tirol Rang fünf ab: Die Adler besiegten die HSG Holding Graz mit 29:26 (15:13) – danach konnten die Feierlichkeiten zu 75 Jahre Handball in Schwaz beginnen. Alles war angerichtet für ein großes Fest in der Schwazer Osthalle – anlässlich des 75-Jahr-Jubiläums lud der Verein bei freiem Eintritt zur nostalgischen Feierlichkeit, viele Weggefährten aus den vergangenen Jahrzehnten waren gekommen. Passend dazu gab es einen verdienten 29:26-Heimerfolg für Sparkasse Schwaz Handball Tirol gegen die HSG Holding Graz, die man nun um vier Punkte distanzieren konnte. Weiter geht es für die Adler erst am 12. November mit der Auswärtspartie bei Vöslau. Graz sorgte durch Rok Skol zwar für das erste Tor der Begegnung, Gerald Zeiner und Alexander Wanitschek antworteten aber mit dem 2:1. Nach dem 2:2 stellte Handball Tirol auf 5:2, die Gastgeber waren nun tonangebend. Petar Medic erzielte in der 19. Minute das 8:4, Clemens Wilfling nach 21 Minuten das 10:5. Gerald Zeiner machte das 12:7 (24.), an sich hatten die Adler alles unter Kontrolle. Doch sie leisteten sich eine kurze Schwächephase gegen Ende der ersten Halbzeit, die Graz nutzen konnte. Nemanja Belos verkürze auf 13:14, in letzter Sekunde traf Sparkasse Schwaz Handball Tirol noch zum 15:13-Pausenstand. In die zweite Hälfte starteten die Tiroler dann wieder sehr konzentriert – Sebastian Spendier traf nach 34 Minuten zum 18:14, Emanuel Petrusic nach 42 Minuten zum 22:17. Die gut stehende Schwazer Deckung und der überragende Aliaksei Kishou eroberten etliche Bälle, die Grazer verzweifelten mehrfach bei ihren Angriffsbemühungen. Und vorne hatten insbesondere Petar Medic (10 Tore) und Gerald Zeiner (9) ihr Visier gut eingestellt, das HT-Kollektiv war jetzt jederzeit Herr der Lage. Zehn Minuten vor Schluss stand es 27:19. Erst am Ende konnte die HSG Graz das Ergebnis noch etwas verbessern. Frank Bergemann, Trainer Sparkasse Schwaz Handball Tirol: „Das war ein guter Auftritt von uns, bis auf eine kleine Phase am Ende der ersten Halbzeit waren wir sehr konzentriert, sehr fokussiert. Wir haben eine gute Deckung gestellt, Aliaksei Kishou war in Topform. Und vorne haben wir sehr kontrolliert gespielt, den Ball gut laufen lassen. Angeführt von Petar Medic und Gerald Zeiner haben wir das im Angriff wirklich gut gelöst. Wir konnten auch viel rotieren.“ Rene Kramer, Trainer HSG Holding Graz: „Wir haben eigentlich ganz gut gespielt, gut mitgehalten. Aber wir sind immer wieder an Aliaksei Kishou verzweifelt, er war heute einfach ganz stark. Die Chancen hatten wir, aber die musst du dann halt auch verwerten, wenn du hier etwas holen willst.
