The Chicago White Sox beat the Kansas City Royals on Thursday afternoon, 7-4. The White Sox had fourteen hits. Thirteen singles and one huge homerun from Luis Robert. The Sox had several opportunities to pile more on but stranded eleven runners and were 5-for-16 with runners in scoring position. Vince Velasquez was serviceable as he gave up four runs in five innings. The White Sox bullpen gave up zero runs in four innings of relief and Liam Hendriks recorded his 12th save of the season.
