This Wednesday was Pablo Torre’s first day in blaugrana as he signed his contract with FC Barcelona and got to wear his new shirt in the Camp Nou for the first time. He has signed a contract until 30 June 2026, with a buyout clause of 100 million euros. He put pen to paper in the company of president Joan Laporta, vice-president for sport Rafael Yuste, director of football Mateu Alemany, the president of Barça B Jordi Casals, the director responsible for youth football Joan Soler and the director of youth football José Ramon Alexanko. Pablo Torre was also joined by his agent Arturo Canales and various members of his family, including his parents, who wanted to be there for such a special day. After signing, Torre (who has also signed up as a Barça member) got kitted out in the Barça uniform and enjoyed his traditional first touches of the ball on the Camp Nou pitch. "Delighted to be here" Speaking to the club's media, Torre spoke about how "happy and delighted" he is to have joined the Barça family. "Iniesta and Xavi were my boyhood heroes" he said. "I promise to give everything for this team." Great season including promotion Pablo Torre was born in Soto de la Marina on 3 April 2003 (19 years), and joined the youth system at Racing Santander in 2015. He made his first team debut at that club on 18 October 2020 in a league fixture against Portugalete. Last season he played 34 games and was a key reason for the team’s promotion to the second division. Pablo Torre scored ten goals in the Primera RFEF (group 1) and gave 11 assists in the regular season and playoffs and the Copa RFEF. The new Barça signing is also part of the Spain U19 team. A right-sided attacking midfielder he is exceptionally skilled and excels at making goal passes. Pablo Torre also breaks through on goal very easily, as shown by his impressive scoring rate. Además de quedar claro con esto el porqué del ostracismo de Puig y que ya está tardando en salir del Barça, obviamente todo esto se debe sumar al historial de Piqué que desde 2012 ya dejó de manifiesto el peligro que tenía desde un punto de vista de gestión del vestuario. Para mí era y sigue siendo uno de los mejores centrales del mundo, pero también un nombre importante dentro de un vestuario al que no da el mejor ejemplo y por esta razón para mí hace muchos años que ya no debería estar en el Barça.
