Tuukka Rask Postgame Interview | Bruins vs. Islanders Game 3
Bruins goaltender Tuukka Rask spoke with the media following the Bruins 2-1 OT Win over the New York Islanders Thursday night in New York in Game 3 of the Second Round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. After going up 1 nothing in the first period on a goal from Craig Smith, the Islanders would come back to tie it late in the third, forcing over-time. Brad Marchand scored the OT winner only 3 minutes later. Rask only allowed one goal in the game, stopping 28 of 29 shots. Boston Bruins win in overtime against the New York Islanders in game 3 of the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs round 2. Bruins get a goal from Brad Marchand in overtime / Marchand OT goal. Bad angle shot beats Sergei Varlamov in overtime. Craig Smith scores for the Boston Bruins, and Tuukka Rask stands on his head only allowing one goal. Mathew Barzal scores on rask to tie the game in the third period but Tuukka Rask stops Barzal in overtime to keep the Bruins alive. Anthony Beauvillier has two breakaways that Rasks stops. Boston Bruins win 5-2 over the New York Islanders in Game 1 of round 2 of the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs 2021. Bruins outshoot the Isles 40 - 22. David Pasternak hat trick in game 1 leads the Boston Bruins over the New York Islanders and the Perfection line of Patrice Bergeron Brad Marchand and David Pasternak looks perfect. Taylor Hall scores an empty net goal and Charlie McAvoy has another great game. Tuukka Rask stops 20 of 22 shots in game one and Ilya Sorokin comes away with a tough night and .897 Save Percentage. Adam Pelech scores the second goals for the New York Islanders and Anthony Beauvillier has another goal and a great game for the Islanders. The Boston Bruins sweep the Islanders?
