2023 | REPLAY | Asian Le Mans Series | 4 Hours of Abu Dhabi | Race 2
Created by the Automobile Club de l’Ouest (ACO), the Asian Le Mans Series symbolises the Spirit of Le Mans, holding the same shared passion for creating world class endurance racing in Asia. The Asian Le Mans Series is becoming the reference endurance racing series in Asia. Delivering highly competitive racing on world class racetracks, last season the Series was watched by a global audience of over 14 million. The Asian Le Mans Series is growing year on year and is attracting some of the world’s most successful endurance racing teams, as well as fostering new and emerging talent from the region. Offering the region’s only direct pathway to the world’s most prestigious endurance race – the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Series is also the perfect training ground for those wanting to step up the ACO ladder. After a hugely successful 2022 Asian Le Mans Series, the Series will return to the UAE for the 2023 season. It will be contested in an intense two-week period, with all four races being held between the 11th and the 19th of February. There will be two races, each four hours in length, at the Dubai Autodrome and at the Yas Marina Circuit, with a mix of both night and day racing. Off-Season Swell Hits Uluwatu
A decent swell and light winds made for a great session at Uluwatu. You couldn’t ask for much better than this in November on the Bukit with onshore westerlies the norm for this time of the year. But the wind behaved itself until late in the day meaning there were even a few nice barrels at the Racetrack for the lower end of the tide.
