Southern California rolled by in fragments — beach paths, traffic lights, ocean views, and the strange realization that the border was finally close. Day 26 of my solo bicycle journey from Canada to Mexico along the Pacific Coast Highway. This ride follows the route from Huntington Beach to Carlsbad, California along the final coastal miles before San Diego County. Nor-Cal Guides & Sportsmen's Association President James Stone gave a Facebook live video update on the California recreational ocean salmon season setting process to the public regarding the potential salmon fishing dates set by the Pacific Fishery Management Council.
