12 self defense tips all women should know? MMA Fighters Try Women’s Self-Defense techniques
Ramsey Dewey and Jourdan Chow review and test out a popular women’s self defense technique video that had been circulating on Facebook. Millions of women like and share self-defense videos like this one every day, but how many of them a tully test out the techniques? Truth be told, a huge percentage of online self defense marketed toward women is absolutely useless garbage, and some of the techniques are more of a liability than an help. This particular video we reviewed here is a composite of various self defense short instructionals from 3 seemingly unrelated martial arts/self defence instructors, which was posted to a popular “beauty care” page. While it may seem silly to get your self defense instruction from a beauty care source, it’s not uncommon. Remember, our first episode of “MMA Fighters Try Women’s Self-Defense Techniques” had us testing out a series of laughably bad ways to foul muggers courtesy of Marie Claire! (Lena Marty, the fitness trainer hired to star in the Marie Claire video has since gone on record regretting her involvement with the production of the insanely popular and widely shared abomination, denouncing her role in it, and enrolling in actual martial arts classes. Good job Lena!) Today’s video is problematic, but it’s not all bad.
