On today’s Outkick the Show, Clay Travis, not one to brag, not one to draw attention to himself, announced his 6-0 streak over in the last 6 gambling picks. His four plays for tonight’s NCAA National Championship game between Texas Tech and Virginia are as follows: Tx Tech + 1.5 and the UNDER at 118. OT at 10 to 1 Before the Final Four started, Clay picked Kyle Guy at 9 to 1 as Most Outstanding Player. (It is now, shockingly, at +450 for him to earn the honor.) Clay Travis also mentioned the controversial ending in the Auburn-UVA game on Saturday, and holds the opinion that UVA’s Kyle Guy was, indeed, fouled on the three-point attempt near the end of the game. Contact was clearly made during the shot by Auburn’s defender, said Travis. The same game’s double-dribble missed call, continued Travis, is, admittedly, an easy call to miss. Bruce Pearl, the head coach at Auburn, also conceded that he didn’t realize it was double-dribble when he appeared on this morning’s Outkick the Coverage radio show with Clay Travis on FOX. Clay Travis also talked about the recent news surrounding Tennessee’s head basketball coach Rick Barnes and his potential coaching change to UCLA. According to Clay, Rick Barnes will probably stay in Tennessee because of his age (65) more than any other factor. The only reason, said Travis, for Barnes to accept the offer at UCLA is because of the weakness of the PAC-12 conference compared to the strength of talent in the SEC. It would likely be easier for Barnes to win his conference if he takes the job coaching the Bruins. Also, Clay Travis weighed in on the childish social media attacks by former Pittsburgh Steeler, Antonio Brown, toward his former teammate, JuJu Smith-Schuster. AB, said Travis, has officially spiraled out of control. AB has now gone off the deep-end with his behavior, especially after digging up an Instagram DM from a college-aged Juju praising AB and asking him for tips, somehow thinking producing this message would elevate his status with fans who seem to have moved on and appreciate Juju in Pittsburgh. AB is losing his mind, said Travis, and this is a terrible look for him. Clay Travis also mentioned the recent drama surrounding embattled Stormy Daniels attorney Michael Avenatti. It appears that Avenatti has produced some compelling evidence showing Nike is guilty of paying Zion Williamson’s mom to encourage him to attend Duke. One prominent question seems to be, said Travis, why Adidas and Nike have been treated so differently in a legal sense. Finally, Clay Travis brought up last night’s Wrestlemania. He especially enjoyed the HHH match, he is excited to see where the WWE is going, he would love to see Hulk Hogan to fully join with the WWE and he enjoyed seeing him last night, and yes, said Travis, it is possible to gamble on the WWE matches. #DBAP
