The Men in Blue currently trail the series by a 1-0 margin after losing the first match. The second game was abandoned due to inclement weather. The Black Caps handed India a crushing seven-wicket defeat in the first match riding on a record 221-run stand between Tom Latham and Kane Williamson. However rain played a spoilsport in the following clash. Now we shall be witnessing a mouth-watering tussle between two formidable white-ball units. New Zealand Team News: With barely any play in the second ODI there are no reasons for tinker with the XI. At best they might consider the option of adding another pace option in the XI. India Team News: If India are willing to compromise on their sixth bowling option Sanju Samson could find a place ahead of Deepak Hooda. Or one of the other frontline batters - Shreyas Iyer or Suryakumar Yadav - might have to be rested to give Samson a chance in the XI What to expect: Scattered showers and ample breaks between play. Another rain-interrupted game awaits fans as the weather forecast for the upcoming IND vs NZ ODI clash in Christchurch has over a 65 percent chance of precipitation. Pitch Report The average first innings total here in the last five ODI matches at the Hagley Oval in Christchurch is 235 runs. Batters and bowlers are likely to find equal assistance from the pitch. Christchurch weather Hagley Oval Weather Report on November 29 - 65 percent rain predicted Rain has played spoilsport in a couple of matches in the ongoing tour and the story is likely to remain the same during the IND vs NZ third ODI in Christchurch. The chance of precipitations shoots up to 74 percent as the game progresses. The temperature will hover between 15 and 13 degrees Celsius and it will be extremely chilly for players out in the middle. The good news however is that it's not raining currently in Napier and live pictures show the players going about their warmups. When it comes to bilateral T20Is it's fair to say that no one comes close to India. This is one team that has consistently performed well both home and away and are a win away from securing yet another series win. Since the loss at home to Australia in February 2019 the team in blue have lost just one bilateral T20I series a Covid-19 stricken Indian team losing to Sri Lanka in 2021. This white-ball dominance hasn't extended to multi-nation tournaments as the results themselves signify. Let now dive into tonight's game at Napier - Hardik Pandya's new set of T20I stars go into the game with a 1-0 lead and India can't lose this series now a creditable achievement considering they're up against a strong New Zealand outfit barring Trent Boult. The hosts will also be without Kane Williamson who misses out due to a 'pre-arranged medical appointment'. He has been replaced by Mark Chapman who should slot in straightaway with Tim Southee taking over the captaincy duties. McLean Park is baked in sunshine at the moment. There are some dark clouds hovering in the background but the groundstaff have started to peel off the square covers Pitch Report | Anjum Chopra and Ajay Jadeja - The pitch has been under covers for the last couple of hours. It looks like a belter it's hard and not a lot of moisture. Side boundaries are really small. There is an even covering of grass so the bounce could be spongy and that'll help the spinners to grip. The captain winning the toss will want to chase. Ground Dimensions - the square boundaries are short at 57m and 60m. Longer straight boundaries at 80m and 77m at either end large pockets as well Toss Update: New Zealand have won the toss and have opted to bat Tim Southee - We will bat. Looks like a pitch where we can put the runs on the board. We can't really control the weather but the history of this ground suggests good batting conditions. Our bowling the other night wasn't the best but credit to SKY. Mark Chapman comes in straightaway. You look back at places where we can improve as a team. Hardik Pandya - We wanted to bowl first anyway so we got what we wanted. I think the pitch will remain the same for the entire 40 overs but with the grass on it there could be some lateral movement for our pacers. We do keep the dimensions in mind but we do have the skill-set in our bowling line-up. We can't think too much about the conditions - One change Harshal comes in place of Washington Sundar Audio Content Disclaimer For This Content This is self-created content and not copied content. Pakistan vs England 6th T20 Live Scores This Match Will be Played at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore on 30th September 2022 This Match Will Start at 8.00pm From Indian Standard time. But for a change cricket lovers are witnessing a long series and that too in the shortest format. And to add curiosity of the fans the seven-match T20I series has lived up to the expectations 🔥 atleast till now! Currently Pakistan are ahead in the series 3-2 and are just one win away from achieving an unassailable lead. The Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore is all set to host the sixth T20I between Pakistan and England. Visitors need to win this game in order to stay alive in the competition. While the Moeen Ali-led side won the first and third T20Is the Babar Azam-led unit won the other three games i.e. the second fourth and fifth matches in the series. It was all about batting in the first three matches but in the previous two matches it was the bowlers who showed their worth in the shortest format. Pakistan would be happy with the way they have played in the five matches. The batters haven't performed the way they needed to with the pitch being as flat as a highway atleast that was the speculation hovering around. If not for the ever-consistent Mohammad Rizwan who has four half-centuries in the series the Men in Green would have been nowhere in terms of scores. The rest of the batting order apart from Babar Azam who has a match-winning hundred in the second T20I haven't really turned good for the side. So they will love to tick the boxes of middle and lower-order woes. Naseem Shah has been ruled out of the series after being ill (Pneumonia and testing positive for COVID-19). But for this series his absence isn't a big concern as he just featured in one game. Being a key frontline bowler Pakistan hope that he gets recovered in time heading into World Cup. Haris Rauf has again shown why he is one of the lethal speedsters. The debutant in the last game Aamer Jamal also did well to hold his nerves while defending 15 in the final over. As always Pakistan have a great pace battery alongside spin bowling all-rounders like Mohammad Nawaz Iftikhar Ahmed and Shadab Khan. On the other hand England are definitely missing their regular white-ball skipper Jos Buttler. The opening has been shilly-shallying but the plus points were the consistency of Ben Duckett and Harry Brook. Dawid Malan's struggle with the spin is a long old story. The stand-in skipper Moeen Ali played exceedingly well throughout the series and was a lone hander in the previous game with an unbeaten fifty but failed to get past the victory line. Bowling has been spot on except for the second T20I and Mark Wood has been the one who rattled the opposition with his raw pace. England did manage to bat well in the first three games but in the last two where the pitch had some assistance to slower deliveries they struggled for timing. The availability of Buttler is still a question mark❓And with the games coming thick and fast both teams might rotate around with the players. There is a possibility for Babar Azam to get through the milestone of scoring 3000 T20I runs. He is 52 runs away from it. If he does in this game he will be the joint fastest to achieve this alongside Virat Kohli. Audio Content Disclaimer For This Content This is self-created content and not copied content.
