#OhioStateBuckeyesFootball2020 #OhioStateFootball #BuckeyeGrove #OhioStateBuckeyes It has been up-and-down for Ohio State Buckeyes Football 2020 and Ohio State Buckeyes Basketball and we are going to try and talk about a few of them in this edition of the BuckeyeGrove Instant Access (BIA) podcast. A couple of wins and a big commit on the basketball side of things and a second game canceled for the Ohio State football team and a lot of uncertainty moving forward as we are unsure what the future may hold in terms of the 2020 season. We start off the show by joining longtime friend Bill Bender of The Sporting News to talk about all of the happenings on the college football side of things. Bill is no stranger to college football and we have a deep conversation about some of the rules that the Big Ten has in place and why Kevin Warren and the leadership must address these issues if they want to have any sort of credibility when it comes to crowning a champion. Does the 21-day rule still make sense? Who has been the biggest surprise this year? We touch upon all of that. Then we head to basketball with BuckeyeGrove’s own Jake Spegal, who makes his debut on the BIA show. We recently had the commitment of Bruce Thornton to Chris Holtmann’s program, what does that mean? What does the rest of the class of 2022 look like? We talk about all of that. Plus, we go over what we have seen out of the first two games of the season and a whole lot more from the hardwoods. All of that and a whole lot more in this edition of the BIA Podcast, be sure to give it a listen and subscribe either at SoundCloud, iTunes, Stitcher, Google Play, YouTube or wherever you find all of your favorite podcasts and be sure to never miss a show as we have now completed our move to airing three shows per week. #OhioStateBuckeyesFootball2020 #OhioStateFootball #BuckeyeGrove #OhioStateBuckeyes Ohio State Buckeyes Football 2020 is in uncharted territory with a pause on all activities after a run of positive COVID tests. We know that the Illinois game is off, the Michigan State game is jeopardy. What does that mean for the season as a whole? We caught up with Gene Smith, Ryan Day and Dr. James Borchers on a team Zoom call to find out the latest for the Buckeyes as things are not only day-to-day, but hour-to-hour. The Buckeyes are most concerned about the health and safety of each of the players, more than what this means for bigger picture items but we also know that football-starved fans, they want to know what is next. Check out what all three had to say during this emergency Zoom call.
#OhioStateBuckeyesFootball2020 #OhioStateFootball #BuckeyeGrove #OhioStateBuckeyes Ohio State Buckeyes Football 2020 is 2-0 on the season now after a big 38-25 win over Penn State in a game that felt like it was much more decisive than the final score would indicate. Points left on the field with a couple of easy missed field goals and such certainly don't help, as does the Buckeyes maybe letting up a little at the end. We break down the game, talk about what looked good and what needs some work as the Buckeyes now turn their attention to Rutgers for week three. Plus we are talking the rest of college football including the Big Ten and one game outside of the league that really stood out, for all the wrong reasons.
#OhioStateBuckeyesFootball2020 #OhioStateFootball #BuckeyeGrove #OhioStateBuckeyes We are talking Ohio State Buckeyes Football 2020 and Penn State Football with Nate Bauer of BlueWhiteIllustrated.com as we find out what happened to the Nittany Lions last week against Indiana, talk about what kind of team we might expect to see here in week two and what Penn State has to do to win this game.
#OhioStateBuckeyesFootball2020 #OhioStateFootball #BuckeyeGrove #OhioStateBuckeyes Ohio State Buckeyes Football 2020 almost lost Haskell Garrett to an off-field incident and everyone around the talented defensive lineman knows that he is lucky to still be around, period. Garrett survived a gunshot wound to the face and while he has had to change his diet and has lost five teeth in the process of several surgeries, he was able to come back and earn Buckeyes defensive player of the game in week one.
