On Saturday, Michigan State hosted Maryland for a chance to bounce back. Michigan State took down Maryland 40-21 thanks to a big first-half, outscoring the Terrapins 27-14. It wasn't always pretty, but in the end, Michigan State's 40-21 victory over Maryland in East Lansing on Saturday was a commanding one. The Spartans still have some cleaning up to do in the defensive backfield with Ohio State waiting for them next weekend, but Michigan State's offense still has its swagger.
