Southern Illinois' Ben Coupet picks up two quick fouls vs. Colorado

Southern Illinois' Ben Coupet Jr., who didn't have any fouls in the first half of the Salukis' game vs. Colorado at the U.S. Virgin Islands, picks up two quick fouls early in the second half, 11/19/21. I don't agree with the second foul charged against Coupet. It looks like the refs aren't allowing much contact between players this season. Coupet eventually fouls out with 1:34 left in the game. J.D. Mulia also fouls out for the Salukis, with 3:57 left. Earlier on the inbound pass after Coupet's first foul, Kyler Filewich is lucky he isn't charged with a foul. Despite Southern Illinois' foul trouble, they are still able to win this game. I see them as a potential Cinderella team come March Madness, but they will have to cut down on their foul trouble first.
