Golden State Warriors Could Trade Chris Paul If They Keep Losing

We can expect the Warriors to remain competitive this season, especially considering they owe a Top 4 protected 2024 first-round pick to the Trail Blazers. The logical solution to reducing their tax penalty is by trading Paul – Golden State’s top trade candidate, according to our Michael Scotto. Paul has a $30.8 million salary for this season and a non-guaranteed $30 million salary for 2024-25. Teams with plenty of space below the first apron would have to send $23.3 million out to match for Paul.
