The Chicago Sky Reach the WNBA Finals after a 3-1 series upset over the Connecticut Sun after a 79-69 game 4 win. This is the first WNBA Finals for the Sky since 2014, when they were swept by the Phoenix Mercury. Curt Miller addressed his team's playoff failure with high expectations and Candace Parker, along with coach James Wade, reflects on the type of year she had from video game/magazine covers to her third finals appearance. Parker won a title for the Los Angeles Sparks in 2016 and suffered a 2017 Finals loss against the Minnesota Lynx's, who the Sky defeated in the second round of this years playoffs.
