Shimizu S-Pulse made it back-to-back league wins, after overcoming Cerezo Osaka 3-1 at the IAI Stadium Nihondaira. The game was heading for a 1-1 draw after Cerezo's attacking midfielder Hiroshi Kiyotake cancelled out Shimizu's second-half goal by Brazilian midfielder Renato Augusto. But midfielder Keita Nakamura scored an 86th minute winner for the hosts, before forward Carlinhos Junior added a third in injury-time.
