WOW! What an absolute belter of a first round of the 2022 AFL Finals! Definitely the most entertaining and nail biting games I've witness in my career. I take you behind the scenes during our do or die Elimination Final against Richmond. Fans couldn't have asked for a more intense game at the Gabba. The Tiger Army were out in numbers, but with all their over the top sledging and boo'ing in our warm up, the Lions faithful got us home in the last quarter!! Two Games In Two Days! #RobVlogs #EP32 #Demons
I was named medical-sub leading into a massive Friday Night clash vs Melbourne Demons at the Gabba. The dees showed why they won last years premership beating us by 58 points. I got on the ground in the last quarter, and I want to say I love the Lions fans, I could hear the cheers as I came on and kicked a goal. I was given the option if I wanted to play Saturday in the VFL against the undefeated Casey Demons (Melbournes reserves) and we ended up winning in a hard fought game. Securing a top 2 spot leading into the finals, finishing the game with 42 disposals. Golf has been a massive outlet for me mentally whilst going through a tough year with footy. Hope you enjoy the vlog, time to rest before we play finals footy for the 4th year in a row.

A week is a long time in Football! I returned back to training Monday after playing well in the VFL then without notice COVID and injuries hit the squad forcing a total of 9 changes to the senior team. We fell short against the Bombers at home, losing by 10 points. We didn't get the job done but I was bloody proud of the way our group faced the adversity during the lead up. I signed with Monster Enegery!
