For the first time since Mother’s Day, the New York Mets swept a series, taking both games of Thursday’s doubleheader against the Washington Nationals. Pete Alonso’s walk-off homer saved the Mets in the last game, as they almost let the finale slip through their fingers. Now it is on to the Los Angeles Dodgers, who come to Citi Field tonight. Host Ryan Finkelstein breaks down the series sweep and is joined by Jordan Grossman for the debut of the new Friday Farm Report segment. Jordan talks about some of the pitchers who are making their way through the Mets farm system, as well as discussing the rise of top third base prospect Brett Baty.
