Interestingly, the Cardinals have never beaten Jared Goff, so he's kept that streak intact. Now, its time to look ahead to a game many had penciled in as another potential win for the Lions. As fate would have it, not so fast there, Lions fan. The 2021 NFL season is full of twists, turns, and jump scares the likes of which no one could have predicted. Detroit Lions Podcast Previews The Atlanta Falcons Jared Goff was put on the Covid/Reserve list immediately following his stellar performance against the Arizona Cardinals. While he has the potential to return against the Atlanta Falcons, it will be a waiting game likely right up until game day for Lions fans. Coach Dan Campbell has said that if Goff can't play we'll put in, "Tim Blough or Jeff Boyle" - so keep your eyes open for a potential hybrid approach at QB, or just another look at Campbell having fun with the media.
