Wofford’s McAuley, Murphy & Stumpe full postgame after North Carolina upset

Wofford coach Jay McAuley with guards Storm Murphy and Trevor Stumpe discusses their 68-64 upset of North Carolina on Sunday. McAuley says the late scratch of UNC guard Cole Anthony from the lineup meant the Terriers wouldn’t have to double as much to get the ball out of Anthony’s hands on ball screens. Stumpe reflected on winning both in the Dean E. Smith Center in 2017 and in Carmichael Arena. Murphy has 15 points on five three-pointers, Stumpe scores a game-high 19 points.
