Texas football is coming a 58-0 victory over the Rice Owls at Darrell K. Royal (DKR) Texas Memorial Stadium. Texas Tech football looks a lot different in 2021 than they did in 2020. Chris Level discusses Oregon transfer QB Tyler Shough and new offensive coordinator and former Tech QB Sonny Cumbie. Shough is 6'5'' 230, he can run and has a big arm. Tech also has a standout WR in Erik Ezukanma and a crowded backfield with Tahj Brooks and last year's leading rusher Sarodorick Thompson. Level says the Texas Tech offense is much different in 2021 than it was in 2020 with David Yost. Yost ran a lot of 11 personnel, or one running back and one TE. With new offensive coordinator Sonny Cumbie Tech is running a lot of differing schemes and formations. Defensively, the Texas Tech Red Raiders have been very impressing against the run. Longhorns Safety Brandon Schooler's brother is one of the best players on the Tech defense, Colin Schooler.
