The Biggest NBA Free Agency Winners: Bucks, Celtics, Nets, Warriors & Wizards

This was a year, then, when “winning” posed a real risk of losing. Max contracts are almost an automatic win (unless you sign somebody for $94 million and … well, never mind) because they’re artificially constrained to be less than the player’s market value, but with no max players to chase this year, the type of contract possibilities left on the market were mostly far riskier propositions. The good news is that some teams appeared to come out of it in good shape anyway. They may not all be “winners” in the sense of winning the news conference, but they played their cards well enough to feel good about their offseason results. So today we’ll introduce my winners from this blazing fast offseason, if we may call them such; tomorrow, I’ll turn to the teams that went backward. Thanks for watching and stay tuned for more! I own none of the footage in the video, it is intended for the purposes of critique and education. #NBAFreeAgency #NBAFreeAgencyWinners #NBAOffseason
