Game: Gran Turismo 7 Track: High Speed Ring Date: 7th May 2022 Episode: 2 - Licence B-2 - Starting and stopping Finish: Licence B-2 - Gold Summary: At O.S. Racing we trying something a little new. We set Oli a challenge, moving from karting to take the first steps into sim racing. Can he complete the National B licence, no assists except those that come with the car (and automatic gears) in Gran Turismo 7 using a playstation 5, Fanatec DD Pro wheel base and Fanatec pedals? This video is the second in a series of videos following Oli as he tackles the Gran Turismo 7 licence structure on the road to online sim racing. Ultimately adding sim racing to Oli's options for racing will allow for additional opportunities to race at a low cost. We hope to learn more about car control as well as discovering and learning tracks without racing lines, brake markers etc. In this second video Oli is attempting to learn how to get the power down to quickly get off the line at the start, as well as identify where to best brake and understanding the brake pressure needed to get the car stopped. Licence B-2 is the second of 10 modules for the Gran Turismo National B Licence which is the same as B-1 except it uses a faster car. Follow Oli has he attempts to achieve this first licence.
