We run through ten of the biggest disappointments over the last twelve months, which features goalshy strikers like Krzysztof Piatek and Luka Jovic, as well as Aaron Ramsdale, who could suffer back to back Premier League relegations, and Christian Eriksen, who went from a star in England to a benchwarmer in Italy. Peter Lim, Valencia’s chairman, also gets a mention as his club crumble in his hands, whilst Barcelona also appear because, well, everything went wrong. Not as wrong as Schalke though, who have won one Bundesliga match in 2020 - and that was the very first one of the year. Pep Guardiola and his protege Mikel Arteta also make the list, as each have underwhelmed in their positions - although one finds themselves under considerably more pressure.
