April 14, 1996-Rangers vs. Yankees (MSG)

-I've seen such a glut of late 90s, early 00s Red Sox games getting uploaded that its time to get more Yankees games of the Torre dynasty era up IMO! Here's a game (Overnight MSG Rewind) from early in the 96 season, their first championship year since 1978 against Texas. Derek Jeter, in his rookie year as the full-time shortstop is batting ninth! Andy Pettitte starts against veteran Kevin Gross. -MSG Yankee games from the 90s sadly will never be aired on YES as "Yankee Classics" (other than the no-hitters and a couple other items) because of the bad blood stemming from the Yankees leaving MSG to form YES. MSG owns the tapes but can't air them, and the Yankees can't get licensing deals with MSG (and likely aren't willing at this point) -NOTE: The lack of audio from 1:14 to about 3:05 is a glitch from the original replay.
