Both players attended training camp in Miami, before Robinson was waived and Smith landed a two-way spot. Smith, 24, is 6-foot-3 and has appeared in one game with the Heat after going undrafted out of Missouri in 2021. Miami signed him to the two-way deal on October 13. Robinson, 22, is 7-0 and was with the Sioux Falls Skyforce, the Heat’s G League affiliate. In four G League games, Robinson has been averaging 20.0 points and 9.3 rebounds. Smith played for Sioux Falls last season. The Heat still have an open roster spot.
