James Harden has gone scorched earth on Daryl Morey and the Philadelphia 76ers. On a press tour in China, Harden called Morey liar and said he would never play for an organization that Morey is part of. This comes after the 76ers were unable to find a trade for Harden. Harden opted into his contract this summer, foregoing the chance to enter free agency in the process, with the assumption that the 76ers would trade him. Harden had also taken less money in the 2022 offseason, assuming the Sixers would reward him with a long term contract this offseason.
