A result which felt like a loss, in fact it was hard to take; A game where we hardly created or gained much control. Just a single moment of brilliance from Bruno Pogba linkup which to Greenwood’s equalizer. We could have even lost the game, thanks to De Gea’s presence that afternoon. Now the common comment being put out by the majority of the fans is that, the season is in nascence, its still in its early stage, we’ve played just 2 matches with 2 points dropped, putting us on 5th… To Ole, this is the season we are most confident about winning the league and you must establish your default 11 immediately before its late, if Varane and Sancho weren’t fit here, they should be fit for the third ! We the fans are expecting the two to have definite spots in the lineup. The earlier they fit in the better, we have a very long season with several competitions but winning the premier should be our primary aim and for that matter, Ole should get his default team from these early days! It was also clear from the game that we are still short of a deep lying midfielder; the summer window isn’t closed yet and I think we shouldn’t be complacent with what we’ve got in the market, there’s a missing slot of a DM we need to get, very very import. The season going to be competitive and making amends early will put us in a better position to compete.
