đš SubtĂtulos en español disponibles đš Activa subtĂtulos en Español en la esquina inferior derecha Football, more than any other sport, is about sharing stories. Stories about places, stories about people, stories about culture. And so as the last decade has seen an unprecedented dominance of a select few âbigâ clubs winning almost every trophy available, we have missed out on those new stories that football so brilliantly tells. So last season we sent Eli Mengem on a journey, to document the few âsmallerâ clubs who somehow did have a chance at winning something, in order to share the new stories weâve all been missing out on. From the south of Spain to the north of Turkey to the south west of Germany, Once in a lifetime is a new series telling the story of three very different clubs made up of three very different people, in three very different places, that all share one thing in common. A very long wait to win something. To begin, we start with Real Betis, arguably Spainâs most eccentric fanbase whose incredible passion in the stands isnât reflected on the pitch. So when they made the Copa De Rey final, which just happened to be hosted in their own city of Seville, we just had to be there to document what happens when such a fascinating fan base has a chance to win their first trophy in 17 years. This is Once In a Lifetime. #realbetis #football #onceinalifetime Welcome to COPA90 Stories, a brand new channel exploring the greatest footballing stories from across the planet. A very long wait to win something. For Episode 2, we headed to Trabzon, home to Trabzonspor, the only non Istanbul team who had the audacity to consistently compete with the big Turkish clubs on and off the pitch. With the club on the verge of winning their first 'official' title in 38 years, we headed to the city on the week of the deciding game. What we came across was a story, a fanbase, and a match day atmosphere that was as memorable as anything we have ever come across. This is Once In a Lifetime. Persija is one of the oldest clubs in Indonesian football and the biggest club in Indonesiaâs capital city Jakarta. In Jakarta, identities are diverse and spread across multiple economic classes, which historically had posed a major obstacle in forming a connection with the football club. However, since 1997, almost 7 decades after the clubâs formation in 1928, a group of 40 people, who called themselves âThe Jakmaniaâ started a revolution amongst the working class of Jakarta. As a result, Persija is one of the best-supported clubs in Indonesia, if not in Asia. The Copa Libertadores is South Americaâs obsession. This year, in the midst of the COVID-19 global pandemic, the final took place at the Maracana between two of Brazilâs most storied clubs; Palmeiras and Santos. This dramatic final will go down in history, for it being an all Brazilian final, with a last minute winner, all while being played in a half empty stadium. #Palmeiras #CopaLibertadores #Maracana Welcome to COPA90 Stories, a brand new channel exploring the greatest footballing stories from across the planet.
