December 20, 1995 - In his final and most complete season with the Detroit Pistons, shooting guard Allan Houston averaged 19.7 points per game and emerged as one of the league's preeminent shooters. On the heels of performances like the one shown above, Houston cashed in during the 1996 offseason, signing a multi-year deal with the New York Knicks. There, Houston was named to two all-star teams and earned a gold medal as a member of the 2000 USA Basketball team.
