Just as we were about to head out on Lake Wanaka to go fishing, New Zealand went into a nationwide Covid-19 lockdown! With fishing prohibited, and exercise the only permitted reason to leave home, we jumped on our bicycles to explore an eerily quiet Wanaka. It's the middle of winter when Wanaka is usually packed with skiers and snowboarders, but today there is hardly anyone outside. We hope to get back fishing for next week's episode as planned, but this will be conditional on the lockdown restrictions being eased. Keep an eye on our social media for more information.
