Troy Andersen has had an incredibly unique and illustrious career at the Division 1 FCS level. Whether it was playing runningback, quarterback, or linebacker, he excelled in every level of his game. During his 4 years at Montana State, he became an All American three times all while playing at three different positions. As a Freshman, Andersen was the Big Sky Freshman of the year while playing Running Back. As a Sophomore, he was a Third Team All American at Quarterback. For His Junior and Senior seasons, Andersen decided to play Defense. Andersen was First Team All American at Linebacker for his last two seasons, as well as finishing as a Buck Buchannan Finalist and winning FCS ADA Defensive Player of the Year after his senior campaign.
