SPOTLIGHT on EURO 2020 Favorites: ITALY, GERMANY, and FRANCE euro2020
I look at some of the tournament favorites (#FRANCE, #PORTUGAL, #ITALY, and #GERMANY) and see how they did in the middle fixtures of the #EURO2020 and see how they did. Italy made 8 changes to their starting 11 and was still dominant. 🇩🇪 vs 🇵🇹 Germany outperformed Portugal in this most exciting fixture of the weekend. FULL DISCLOSURE: This is the second attempt I am posting this video today. I am on a steep learning curve about YouTube and licensing. Early in the video I make reference to using a video but The video is no more, In an honest attempt to make the presentation more engaging I originally used a video I had no right to, and my first post was blocked. I corrected this. The talk is still clear and useful. I was only going to use the video for the last 6 minutes just to expand on some things I address earlier in the video. Arsenal 0 - 0 Burnley - Growing Pains at Arsenal
#Arsenal played like they needed a break and help from #Edu with reinforcements in their match against #Burnley at the Emirates Stadium today. It was a performance that showed growing pains on so many levels for the Football Club. On the pitch the youngsters are burning out from overuse and overburden, of the field the club have a Green Manager, CEO, Technical Director and the growing pains with all are showing. However, I don't think this is the time to panic buy. They need to continue being smart with their recruitment as they were in the summer. The squad clearly needs reinforcements but they have to be the right ones and not get drawn into a scattergun approach to make up numbers.
Arsenal 5 -1 Sunderland | Arteta gives useful minutes to squad players
#Arsenal beat #Sunderland in what was a fun Carabao Cup tie at the Emirates Stadium. #Nketiah gets his first hat-trick for the first team while there were good performances from nearly everyone. The Gunners fielded a much-changed 11 and this was a good thing for Mikel Arteta's squad players who had been starving for minutes this season due to Arsenal's lack of mid-week (European) competition this season. It was clear in the first half that these players had not played much for a while. They got better as the game went on and this will hopefully help Arsenal during their time of need as the fixtures get more difficult schedule-wise. Arsenal will be playing two games in less than 48 hours on the 26th and the 28th so they will need every fit player contributing to the cause in the next 10 days or so.

#Arteta gets a much-needed win and #Arsenal excite for large periods of the game. His #AFC team played well with and without the ball. If it was not for poor finishing and Tim Krul's big performance in goal for Norwich, Arsenal would have won by a bigger margin. Arteta's substitutes played a big part in Arsenal's in a much more fluid period of the game in the second. Arteta's switch to a 4-3-3/4-1-4-1 shape helped Arsenal get 20 shots on goal in the second half. The under-pressure Arsenal manager will have been happy with most of what he saw from the whole team and even more so from 5 of his new signings.

#Auba got his first premier league goal of the season under weird circumstances but A GOAL is A GOAL is A GOAL 😊👌🏾 so it is all smiles for all involved/associated with #Arsenal Football Club #AFC The Arsenal captain put in a shift and was dangerous throughout the game as he produced his most engaged premier league performance this season.
Pepe rating pt. 2 | Arsenal 1 - 0 Norwich
The Ivorian was one of Arsenal's impactful players in the game. His first touch let him down a few times but for the most part, he was a constant threat for #Arsenal. This is a massive season for #Pepe to prove to all involved at #AFC that it was a good decision to invest heavily in him.
