JULY 5, 2021 - Slovenia successfully wrapped up their Olympic Qualifying Tournament campaign. They edged hosting Lithuania in Kaunas tonight to secure 2021 Tokyo berth. Luka Doncic (201-G-99) was unstoppable with 31 points, 13 assists and 11 rebounds to lead the winners. Slovenia dropped 28 points in the first period to take a 4-point lead. Lithuania responded with a 28-point effort in the second quarter to even things up at 52. But the visitors started to take the reigns in the third term. They poured in 28 points led by Doncic to open up an 11-point lead at the final break. Slovenia protected it well throughout the fourth quarter and rallied to a desirable result at the end. Vlatko Cancar (203-SF-97) produced 18 points for Slovenia.
