Kobe Bryant said many times during his career that he absolutely hated the Phoenix Suns. After two playoff defeats and many tense battles it makes sense as to why he loathed the Suns. It seems Kobe took out the anger and frustration on Suns’ defenders as he completely destroyed them after the 2007 playoffs. In particular, Grant Hill took the blunt of Kobe’s offensive onslaught. Hill was a phenomenal player for many years, but he was assigned to guard Kobe after his prime. Though he put up a noble effort, there was no stopping Kobe as he was determined to show that he wouldn’t be contained on his way to two championships.
