I made a few tweaks including boosting the volume of the audio. #Coogs #GoCoogs #KelvinSampson #AmericanHoops Coach Kelvin Sampson comments on point guard Jamal Shead's calm demeanor with 5 seconds remaining in the 2nd OT. Coach Sampson says Jamal learned from his mistake in the final seconds against Wisconsin earlier this season. Shead realized 5 seconds was enough time to get the ball into the frontcourt and dished to teammate J'Wan Roberts for the game-winning slam dunk. Coach Sampson gives credit to Wichita State's players for their great effort in the game. Coach Sampson also credits Houston freshman Ramon Walker for making three 3-point shots today. He also comments on Wichita State's guards including Craig Porter Jr.'s solid, solid showing against Houston.
