FC GOA made it to Top 4 on the final league game campaign with a boring draw. The Gaurs had to be undefeated to stay in Top 4 against Hyderabad FC, and so they did. After a boring first half from both the sides, Hyderabad shifted their gear immediately in the second half and put more men upfront showing the intent to grab 3 points. On the other hand, Kerala Blasters have given up all 4 goals from defensive errors or loop holes. #HYDERABADFC #HFCKBFC #KBFC #HFC Joel Chianese's movement was a constant pain for Kerala's defence and was directly or indirectly was a part of the first 2 goals. 3rd and 4th goals resulting from set pieces could have been avoided had there been a better defensive organization from KBFC. Hyderabad FC clinched a 2-0 win against an unlucky Chennaiyin FC team. HFC is on a hot form with 7 undefeated games. Chennaiyin FC has been brave and creative up front but lacked finishing touch in the opponent box. #hyderabadfc #hfccfc #hfc #cfc With a change in formation with a traditional 4-4-2 approach, Manolo gave Fran Sandaza a chance to start the game, and the change paid off by a beautifully taken goal with a sublime assist from Joao Victor. Second goal came from Joel Chianese who had worked on his finishing this time around and finished the chance he got with his first touch. After a 7 match win less streak, Bengaluru FC was all set to take on Hyderabad FC who themselves have found it hard to register a win for 3 games in a row. #hyderabadfc #bfc #hfc #hfcbfc #WeAreBFC After a brilliantly taken set piece from Cleiton and Sunil Chhetri, Bengaluru dominated the first 20 mins of the game. However, after 20 mins, they went back to an organized formation with entire side being compact and not letting Hyderabad FC complete their passes hence blocking them from being effective in the final third. Outstanding finish from Leon almost sealed the victory for BFC which was only possible from a rare error from Hitesh Sharma. BFC were all but taking 3 points until Manolo decided to pull off defensive players and introduce attacking players to clinch 1 point from a rather dead game until then for the Nizams. Fran Sandaza and Rohit Danu shone as substitutes where Fran stole a brilliant goal and Danu providing a good assist to Aridane who had to just tap in from in front of the goal.
