The Aggies holds off Bethune-Cookman !!
The Bethune-Cookman Wildcats travels to Greensboro, NC to take on The North Carolina A&T Aggies in Corbett Sports Center. In the last seconds on the clock, Fred Cleveland Jr. knocks down a pair of free throws to give the Aggies some breathing room as they cause the Wildcats to turned the ball over to close it out. The Chicago Bears running back Tarik Cohen was in the building as well to support his alma mater as they walk off with a 98-95 win over Bethune-Cookman in a close game. On Wednesday afternoon Big South Conference opens up the men’s basketball where the NC A&T Aggies coming in as the #9 seed in the conference and the Radford Highlanders coming is the #8 seed in the conference squaring off against each other in the first round matchup. Radford had bounce back after being down by 14 in the halftime to send it the game to overtime. However, the Aggies outscored the Highlanders 18-11 in overtime to pull off a 78-71 win over Radford. The moment that everybody has been waiting for and it all came down to the battle in the MEAC as both schools are separated 55 miles apart. The defending MEAC Champs North Carolina Central visits North Carolina A&T in a sold out crowd in Club Corbett. The crowd has brought a lot of energy to the arena and the Aggies lead the entire game and never trailed. The North Carolina Central Eagles were trying get back in the game by putting some pressure on the Aggies and making offensive plays but the Aggies kept stretching the lead by double digits with their unbelievable highlights that can lead to ESPN Top 10 plays. The North Carolina A&T Aggies moved up to #2 in the MEAC by getting a 77-60 victory over the Eagles.
