New York Islanders Win in OT vs Tampa Bay Lightning Coaches Breakdown and Reaction Isles in 7?!...

New York Islanders defeat the Tampa Bay Lightning 3 – 2 in overtime of game 6 of the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs Semi Finals. Anthony Beauvillier OT goal beats Andrei Vasilevskiy who looked like brick wall until the last half of the third period. Semyon Varlamov rebounded tonight after a shaky start and 2 straight Lightning goals by Brayden Point and Anthony Cirelli on a breakaway. NY Islanders responded with Jordan Eberle scoring on a beautiful drop pass by Matt Barzal and Barzal set up Scott Mayfield goal after dominating in the offensive zone. NYI TBL was a game for the ages and I found it more exciting the game 4 after the Ryan Puloch save. Game 7 will happen in Tampa Bay, can the New York Islanders beat the Tampa Bay Lightning and can the Isles win the Stanley Cup again? Or will the juggernaut Tampa Bay Lightning team win their third Stanley Cup breaking the New York Islanders fans hearts on their way to their second straight Cup Final? Nikita Kucherov injury after hitting Matt Barzal was nasty but it didn’t look like a big deal, however Kucherov would not return. Steven Stamkos Cross Check into the board and was bleed and referee Chris Lee no call again! Why NHL Teams Either Survive… Or Take Over a Series

Every playoff series has a turning point. Game 4 is where everything changes. Some teams are fighting to stay alive — backs against the wall, forced to take risks, forced to change how they play. Others see the opportunity to take control of the series — and if they play it right, they don’t just win the game… they take over everything. In tonight’s games: What desperation actually looks like when teams are facing elimination How structure vs risk shows up differently in must-win situations Why some teams survive the moment… and others let it slip Featuring: Edmonton Oilers vs Anaheim Ducks Dallas Stars vs Minnesota Wild Boston Bruins vs Buffalo Sabres This isn’t about effort. It’s about understanding when to push, when to stay structured, and why Game 4 is often the hardest game to win in the NHL playoffs. Most teams don’t lose because they’re worse. They lose because they don’t adjust when it matters most.
