Should The Jets Draft For Position?

The ping pong balls did not go the Winnipeg Jets way. They dropped from the 7th overall pick to the 8th as the Toronto Maple Leafs and the San Jose Sharks were the big winners, moving up to No. 1 and No.2 respectively. Whatever. Good for them. The Jets didn't want to pick there anyway... Joking aside, it presents a list of questions for the Jets -- specifically, how are they going to draft? The prevailing wisdom for this club has to always select the best player available, regardless of position. But is that really what's best for this team right now? Don't they need a center more, even if a blue chip blueliner falls into their lap?
