"Not a good performance" - Ancelotti on Everton's 1-0 loss to West Ham

Reaction from manager Carlo Ancelotti after his Everton side suffered a 1-0 defeat against West Ham United at Goodison Park in the Premier League on Friday (1st January). Tomas Soucek capitalised after teammate Aaron Cresswell's shot deflected off Yerry Mina and kindly into the path of the Czech, who tapped in for an 86th minute winner. The Toffees were on a winning streak of four league games, and could have climbed up to second in the table, but an uninspiring performance leaves the Merseyside club fourth. Victory for the 10th-placed Hammers ended a streak of their own, having suffered four consecutive defeats going into the fixture.
