Cavalry looked to bring home 3 points at the conclusion of a long road trip on the October 5th tilt against Valour. Marco Carducci came out big with many huge saves, including one right out of the gate on a massive chance for Valour. Mo Farsi was once again a work horse, grinding up and down the wing producing many chances and looked fantastic throughout. Both teams fought hard to pull ahead but either side were able to find the back of the net. This marks the end of a long road trip for Cavalry and will be playing back at ATCO field on Saturday October 9th at 2:00pm MT. "I think we had a lot of moments to win the game...it was kind of one-way traffic on the field." Sunday afternoon brought with it the perfect atmosphere for soccer. A beautiful day in Calgary, an electric crowd on hand, blue sky, green grass and another edition of the Al Classico. FC Edmonton came to ATCO Field still without a win on our home turf - and that fact wouldn't change, but they took advantage of their opportunities and put two on the board. We had a number of prime chances - and Mo Farsi was an absolute beast out on the pitch today. It was Joe Di Chiara hammering home a rebound in the first half and Joe Mason tying things up late in the second to secure a point against the Eddies. With a crowd of 3,500 in attendance, the energy was palpable. Thank you to everyone who came out to enjoy the match. We now are on the road for the next three weeks, starting on Wednesday as we head north for a rematch with our provincial rivals. Our next home match is on September 22nd against Pacific FC - a Canadian Championship quarterfinal tilt. August 29, 2021 video: One Soccer #CavsFC #CPL
