Houston Cougars Head Coach Kelvin Sampson speaks with the media after Houston's 67-64 win over Memphis. Houston freshman guard Tramon Mark banked in a 3 pointer from near midcourt to beat the buzzer. Coach Sampson discusses the game-winning shot and recalls Houston's being on the other end of buzzer beaters during his time at Houston. He says the play was drawn up for Tramon Mark. He credits Memphis' defense for some of Houston's struggles on offense. He hopes the NCAA Selection Committee puts Memphis in the Tournament because Coach Sampson believes Memphis is an NCAA Tournament team. He believes the AAC doesn't get enough credit. He thinks Houston, Wichita State, and Memphis should be in the Tournament. Coach Sampson discusses his emotions on Senior Day for Justin Gorham, Brison Gresham, and DeJon Jarreau.
