Michigan State football has a long way to go. Jonathan Smith has a big job to do and try to turn things around. While previewing the upcoming spring we will look back at how former Spartans coach Nick Saban indirectly led to today's problems with the Michigan State program. This is more of an amusing look at history and not a criticism. And, by the way, the first half of the Spartans 2024 football schedule is rough. If they are planning on discovering who they are, they better do it quickly or else we may see a slow start in East Lansing. Penn State basketball continues to amaze all with their ability to come from behind and win. Four of their seven conference wins came after falling behind by double figures.
