RWANDA: CHAN 2016 DRAWING CEREMONY IN KIGALI
Amavubi ended up in a tough and tricky group A of the 2016 Africa Nations Championshipswhich will be held in Rwanda from January 16 to February 7, 2016. Rwanda was drawn in Group A alongside Gabon, Morocco and Cote d’Ivoire for the fourth edition of the tournament designed exclusively for footballers playing in their domestic leagues. Group A will be based at the Amahoro Stadium in Kigali, Group B in Huye, Group C at the Nyamirambo Stadium, also in Kigali with Gisenyi hosting Group D. RAYON SPORTS PROGRESSES IN CAF COMPETITION
Rwanda Peace Cup winners, Rayon Sports made it two wins over Al Wau Salaam of South Sudan following a 2 - 0 win in the second leg tie of the preliminary round of the Total CAF Confederation Cup played at Amahoro Stadium in Kigali.Rayon Sports came into the tie as favorites following their 4-1 away win in the first leg played in Juba. Rayon Sports will next head to Mali to take on Onze Creatures in the first qualification round first leg on the weekend of March 10-12 before hosting the second leg the following weekend.
