The Montreal Canadiens extended their lead for fourth place in the Scotia North Division, handing the third-place Winnipeg Jets their sixth straight loss, 5-3 at Bell Centre on Friday. Nick Suzuki had two goals and an assist, and Jake Allen made 19 saves for Montreal (22-18-9), which leads the fifth-place Calgary Flames by six points and moved within four points of Winnipeg.
